WV NASP STATE TOURNAMENT

Information

Coaches be sure you have your archers’ arrows and that all archers enter the range in an orderly manner. After your flight has concluded and your scorecards handed over, you and your archers will return to the “Coach and Archer Room the same way you entered the range.

• NO ARCHER OR COACH IS ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE RANGE AND GO INTO THE SPECTATOR’S AREA AFTER THEIR FLIGHT.

Once you return to the coach and archer room you are free to leave your equipment there and parents/family can come and hang out in the area outside the room. There will be a concession stand located outside the room in the Elk River Atrium. Once the tournament has concluded please be aware the awards ceremony will be held in the ballroom starting around 3:30 PM.

This next part I would like for you to share with the parents and family that plan on joining us this year. The Charleston Coliseum will have their concession stand that is outside the range open along with the dining area so people can sit and eat. There is no food or open containers allowed on the range. Spectators can bring a sealed container into the venue. This includes:

• Bottles and cups like Stanley Cups that have a sealed lid.

Fast food drink cups and open containers will not be permitted past the concession area. Signs will be posted with images of allowed sealed containers. All tickets for the public will be sold at the box office outside near the parking garage. This year our shirt vendor has returned and will be selling shirts to the public (they will have their own design and be separate then the special tournament shirts that only archers receive)

The admission fee to watch the tournament is $10 for adults (18 and older), $5 for children (6-17). Children younger than 6 get in free.

Please arrive to the Elk River Atrium inside the Civic Center by 1:15

Below is a Link to a Floor Plan of the Charleston Civic Center.  It is the same set up as last year.

1. After you enter into the Civic Center lobby walk straight and a slight right to the up-stairs.
2. Go up to the second floor.
3. Once on the second floor go right then proceed down the long hallway to your left, you will come to another set of steps that will take you back down to the Elk River Atrium on 1st floor.  This is where we will meet.   We still have a couple that have not paid the $10 entry fee.
